From the gospels to sacred customs incorporated by the Catholic Church, to traditions created in the British Victorian Era, Christmas has gone from a winter celebration to a party that, for many, mixes religious tradition with modern-day secularism.

The birth of Jesus
Christmas – which for Christians marks the birth of Jesus, the son of God – is held on December 25th or January 7th, in the case of Orthodox Christians.
The nativity is described in the New Testament of the Bible, but the gospels of Matthew and Luke give different versions of the event.
Both narratives say that Jesus was born to Mary, betrothed to Joseph, a carpenter. The gospels state that Mary was a virgin when recorded.
In Luke’s account, Mary was visited by an angel bringing the message that she would give birth to the son of God. Matthew’s version states that Joseph was visited by an angel who persuaded him to marry Mary rather than dismiss her or expose the origin of her pregnancy.
Matthew also speaks of a group of wise men (the wise men) who followed a star until they reached the birthplace of Jesus, to present him with gold, frankincense and myrrh. Luke, in turn, says that shepherds were guided by an angel to Bethlehem.
According to tradition, Joseph and Mary traveled shortly before the birth of Jesus. Joseph had been ordered to participate in a census in his hometown of Bethlehem.
All Jews had to be counted so that the Roman Empire could determine how much it would collect from them in taxes. Those who had moved from Bethlehem, like Joseph, had to return to be registered.
Joseph and Mary faced the long and arduous journey of 150 km from Nazareth, through the Jordan River valley, passing through Jerusalem until reaching Bethlehem. Mary traveled on a mule, to save energy for the birth.
But, upon arriving in Belém, they learned that the local inn was full. The owner of the place let them stay in a rocky cave under the house, used as a stable.
It was there, close to the noise and dirt of the animals, that Mary gave birth to her baby and placed him in the manger.
The first Christmas
The gospels do not mention the date of Jesus’ birth. It was only in the 4th century that Pope Julius 1st established December 25th as Christmas Day. It was an attempt to Christianize the pagan celebrations that were already held at this time of year.

It is because Christian Religion is a Religion of Limitting the Population.
Society needed to change the Abrahamic promises of exponential multiplication of the human population.
The traditional Year began in the Spring, optimally at Equinoxe.
People living that way, measuring time that way, had mentally, culturally, the vision of an asymmetrical life.
The Summer, the best time of life, of becoming full, was not placed in the center of the cycle.
Living that way, humans were placing themselves in that asymmetrical life, with downfall much longer than the rise, and it meant a very long life, a very long old age.
The Christian Religion, a Religion of Death and Illness, changed it, placed humans in a symmetrical life, putting the Summer in the center of the cycle, to induce to people, to ask them to have a downfall as long as the rise, simply put, to die sooner, have shorter old age, just as long as the childhood.
Any wise person avoids Christian Faith, and understands that a Faith is not what it pretends to be, but it is what it does.
I no longer put up Christmas trees due to this scripture, I feel Father states loud and clear:
