As part of his argument, Rood defers to E.W. Bullinger’s work on “Use of Figures of Speech in the Bible” to make his point that we should not take the Bible literally. I have traveled the world and have yet to find an accurate FEPS (Flat Earth Positioning System) that can give me accurate directions or distance to anything on the planet, The Earth, which according to my nearly 70 years of experience and personal observations, rotates very gently one time in 23 hours and 56 minutes- twice as slow as the hour hand on my watch. Bullinger listened to the nonsense of a person who attempted to make a name for himself by renting a rowboat and attempting to measure the circumference of the earth on a canal waterway. He was able to deceive Bullinger for a while but I am not as gullible. Even your flat earth buddies got out of your rented rowboat, invested in a laser gyroscope and proved the 15 degree drift per hour on a slowly rotating planet.
