Whole Foods salad section had a very innovative pricing policy. Whole Foods provided the reusable large bowl. It weighed a LOT. The cashier weighed the salad, including the bowl and charged for the weight of the salad plus the weight of the bowl. The bowl more than doubled the weight of the salad. Hence, totaled about 3x the weight of the salad alone. After eating Whole Foods wanted their bowls back. Yes, as soon as I found out I suggested Whole Foods subtract the weight of the bowl or at least let us keep the bowl which we paid for. They acted shocked. I guess the price for the bowl was it's rental fee.
