David and Goliath is a type for today. David represents God's remnant children. Goliath is also a type, but he represents the world.
David have no armor or protection, and relies wholly on the Lord, as we are to do.
Goliath have armor. The world have their tanks and guns and missiles and technology to use against God's children.
We are the antitype.
And the pebble that smote Goliath is Jesus, who will save His children with His second coming.
Size also do matter. David is small, the remnant church will be small in comparison to Goliath(the world)'s size.
