If God had endorsed in Scripture an ancient cosmology, those who believed some other ancient cosmology would have dismissed the Bible on the basis that the Bible’s cosmology was wrong. Certainly, modern man would make that argument, because modern cosmologies differ from all ancient cosmologies. But what if God had endorsed the modern cosmology? Then people up to relatively recent times would have dismissed the Bible, because, in their minds, it taught the wrong cosmology.”
WOW! SMH. Answers in Genesis is the source that so many turn to when it comes to how to understand the bible when it comes to creation. These are very dangerous words and the idea that God didn’t want to offend ancient or modern people with any specific cosmology is playing so loose with the Bible it’s not even funny. It’s tragic.

You're an even further level away from sanity than Answers in Genesis. They believe in a young earth, which is absurd, but at least they don't believe in a flat earth
7:12 I think that desiring the approval and glory/recognition of men plays a big part in many people's knee-jerk condemnation of flat Earth. I also experience this even though I am seeing more and more that the earth is flat.
I have to remind myself that Y'shua said in Luke 9:26 that if anyone is ashamed of Him or His words then He will also be ashamed of them when He comes in His glory. If Y'shua says the earth is stationary and a circle (not a ball), then I need to not be ashamed of His words but trust in Him. It also doesn't hurt to research the topic and have an answer prepared for those who will ask.
About 2 years ago i heard an apologist say that circle of the earth meant sphere, so i looked and studied and found that it could not possibly mean that. Then i looked deeper and found the earth is a flat stationary circular plane.
Now i can't unsee it anymore.
Enoch has an entire chapter on cosmology that only makes since on a flat earth model.
