Gunnar Hámundarson was a Viking who according the Njáls saga was almost invincible on the battlefield. He was also apparently, outrageously handsome.

I'm actually stuck on the lock of hair for his bowstring. Her hair must have been magnificently long and strong.
I think Gunner was real. Maybe not everything they say about him. But still I hope so. Either way it's awesome to hear about him.
Im from Iceland and I have learned about Gunnar and I believe that he vas real but I think som tells was exaggerated but I think he was real
I do think that he did exist but maybe not in the way that is described in the saga. Also do you think that his strength & ferocity in battle come's from the war paint that he may have had? Like the Celtic's with Woad?? 😊
