Tokugawa Ieayasu would become known as the third unifier of Japan after Toyotomi Hideyoshi, though he would also become Shogun and establish the Tokugawa Shogunate that would rule Japan for nearly 300 years!

It’s good to know that every single one of these warlords are what they are, warlords. They all played a part in unification for Japan however they all did terrible things to unite Japan. Nobunaga did most of the heavy lifting, hideyoshi United Japan, but Tokugawa established peace. It’s so interesting to see their journey and how they’re shaped as people overtime.
I don't think Ieyasu was traumatized by having to have Tsukiyama executed since he didn't actually love her in a romantic sense,He would be traumatized by Lady Saigo's death since Saigo was Ieyasu's true love.
