Question. Can the Lord bless when a group comes together to teach OPPOSITE of His express purpose in the very last days? The Elijah's message to God's people (Mal. 4:5)? The stated goal of this church is to "bring em in" yet God's messenger said —
"The Lord does not now work to bring many souls into the truth, because of the church members who have never been converted and those who were once converted but who have backslidden. What influence would these unconsecrated members have on new converts? Would they not make of no effect the God-given message which His people are to bear?" Testimonies, vol. 6, p.370
If the Lord is not working now to bring many into the truth (church membership) then WHO IS WORKING NOW? Let us read —
"And the dragon cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood." (Rev. 12:15)
Thus Satan and his angels and NOT Christ are behind this "bring em in" outreach now. The message of Elijah is to "reform them now" not "bring em in now". Pray for Doug and his ministry. Dress reform, diet reform, worship reform, sermon reform, sighing and crying, etc. ALL need to be taught FIRST before bringing em in.
