  1. Trophy hunting, hounding, trapping, and surplus hunting is unethical. You harvest fruits and veggies not animals. There's nothing wrong with ethical hunting for food, that should be the only hunting allowed period. Predator hunting is trophy hunting plain and simple, and it should and will be banned.
Montana, Idaho, and Wyoming have been having an all out war on wolves. There's no reason whatsoever to hunt or trap wolves. Wolves are essential keystone apex predators. There's many benefits to the ecosystems and environment to having wolves. Wolves regulate their own numbers, human management is what causes problems and damages packs. Wolves don't wipe out ungulates, and they kill less than one percent of livestock, that's livestock on their land. Welfare ranchers and farmers are compensated for any lost livestock. More livestock is lost to environmental factors and disease than wolves. Wolves control the spread of CWD and other diseases. Wolves keep prey healthy and thriving. There's plenty of non-lethal methods to keep wolves at bay, best would be to remove the invasive livestock from wildlife land, cows and sheep don't belong on wildlife land. There's plenty of non-welfare ranchers and farmers to support. Please have on actual wolf and predator experts without ulterior motives to go over the actual facts and science.

  2. In South Dakota the number of mountain lions, you can kill each year… Those numbers keep going up because they're finding out there's more mountain lions in South Dakota than previously thought
