Most people who want no hunting just because they love animals and want everything to be natural are profoundly ignorant, so much so that they'll never see it. Wolves were already back in Colorado before the government reintroduced them. If all hunting stopped in Colorado, the deer and elk population would swell to the point that they would be starving to death in a few years' time due to over-grazing. Yes, even if hunting predatory animals is prohibited, this would still happen. Also, there is very little about nature that is actually natural. Elk are not native to the Rocky Mountains. They were originally a plains animal, and some were transplanted to the mountains and did very well and grew a massive population. So, we better round up all the elk and put them back in Eastern Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, etc. Also, better put grizzlies back in the San Juan Mountains. The list goes on and on.
