Ishikawa Goemon was said to be a thief in the feudal Japan era who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. However, many speculate as to whether this gesture of good will was actually a ploy to cover his own tracks.

I remember that there was a Goemonn buro (五右衛門風呂) in my grandmother's house when I was young. You have to be careful not to touch the side of it since the bathtub is metal so hot. And at the bottom, of course, you put down a thick round wood board and stand on it for the same reason.
