Henry Avery was only on the seas for 2 years, but in that short space of time he racked up one of the biggest hauls that any pirate has ever seen. While legends like Blackbeard and Bartholomew Roberts spring to mind when speaking about pirates, it’s funny that Henry Avery who made more money than the pair of them, seldom shares the spotlight.
