I still believe there is absolutely no problem with gravity in a flat earth model. The disc just must contain enough mass to attract the bodies. I've once calculated a disc high of about 6000 miles, so more a cylinder than a disc, but it depends on the density of the composition compound of the earth and naturally if and how large the hell inside it is.
