So here's the thing. If the bible is the cornerstone of christianity or whatever religion,as it seems to change hands quite a bit, and everyone 2,000 years or so ago believed in this, why did the church or whatever religion the bible purports to be, decide to change to heliocentrism? Why didn't they keep on supporting the old ways? Why? Well, let me tell you why, popularism. It became popular by the masses. Christianity was losing it's grip because it was stuck in the old ways of thinking. More and more proof was being evidenced for heliocentrism. People questioned, searching the truth, which F Er's and the likes of Rob Skiba and Matt Long ask you to do. The masses found the old ways lacking and unprovable. This change is called evolving. You know, that thirst for knowledge and understanding. So those that believed in the bible jumped on the bandwagon. And really the bible didn't become popular until well after jesus died and in Rome at that. Because of control and power a single deity was preferred over many deities, because of popularism.So they jumped the bandwagon. And then they usurped the new ideas like they did pagan rituals, you know like Christmas, and put the fear of god into those masses for the new ways for control.
You cannot prove anything from scripture for two reasons. 1. you confirm that there are 60 sources written by 40 different authors for the bible. Surely it's the word of god, not 40 people. 2. You compare a fantasy novel with the bible. Good luck for the future

Oh my goodness, you're comparing Lord of The Rings to the bible. In fact what you should be doing is comparing The Silmarillion to the bible. Either way by comparing the bible with a fantasy story, you're stating that the bible is also a fantasy,
So you're were happy to believe previous indoctrinated rhetoric and swapped it for some older indoctrinated rhetoric.And all this in a small amount of reading. Okay so you say the bible is written by 60 sources written by 40 authors and so that means it is not the word of god.
