AHAYAH turned his skin white. A mark to set him apart from the brown skinned people of that time.
Did you ever think the mark of Cain made him white? We know humans came out of Africa. Much of the old testament takes place in Africa. White people were able to migrate north where there is less sunlight in the winter months and survive. Making him white certainly would make him look different than the dark skinned people in Africa and Middle East.
