I am simply asking a question, not criticising anyones belief system..but… The earth hasn't changed, it is as it was created, always has been. (Not talking about erosion, supposed Global Warming, etc.) But the shape of the earth is as God created it, correct? Then who is the deceiver in Flat Earth belief? Who or what is NASA, Govts, or whoever protecting the big secret from? If the earth was flat, who wanted everyone to believe it was round, and why? NASA & Governments were not around way back in the past, so how could it be that they just came along and thought, 'the earth is flat, but lets make everyone think it is round.' What purpose would that serve. It can't be because they needed a way to hide money by making people think that billions were going to space exploration, or whatever, so they could use it somewhere else. It seems to me that there could be thousands of other lies to tell to embezzle money, so why come up with a lie that would be impossible to keep a lie? You can't tell me that the sun, moon & planets were made by human beings, because they have been rising and setting since mankind could record it, way b4 anyone had technology to create such a lie. Do flat earthers believe it is all Satan, or aliens that created all this? Even if that were the case, if they were smart enough to create it all, they would have to be smart enough to know that lie would have eventually been realized by people by finding the edge, right? If we are an alien experiment, what would have been the problem of humans just starting off their existence knowing the earth was flat to begin with? What is the purpose of the lie? I'm just tring to get a better understanding of why? Not trying to get someone to tell me that ships don't dip below the horizon, that water can't stick to a globe or that NASA's moon pictures were fake, I'm asking a deeper question here that I've had no luck getting answered anywhere else so far. And if your answer is that it goes deeper than all of that, my mind goes deep, so please enlighten me! Thanks for any intelligent input!
