Since no one has travelled to the sun to know it's true distance from the earth… as opposed to someone who knows how far it is from their house to work.. I guess for those who say that the sun is 93 million miles away.. just have to take the words of those who surmised it… or as I like to put it.. construct it to fit the narrative called the heliocentric model (LIE). If you see a light in the distance on a straight road.. in the dark.. how will you know just how far away it is.. unless you travel to it.. in order to make that determination. For if you don't.. then all you can do is guess. It could be 5 miles.. or 1 mile.. or 500 yards away.. the point is.. the sun is a light and knowing it's exact distance from earth.. would require that one traverses to where it is in order to know exactly how far it is from earth. The sun's size and distance.. were determined mathematically.. as part of the construct.. to fit the narrative that we live in a solar system going around the sun.
Mind you.. all this was done from the ground looking up at it… and does not conclusively serve as proof that the assertion of it's distance is correct.
So when flat earth folks bring stuff to the table.. that clearly proves the earth is flat.. and it's based on what we observe right here on the ground.. it is rejected by those who cling to the ball earth teachings.. like a 5 year old clings to their blanket for security. Some globers get verbally combative.. hurl insults.. act like babies.. and for what.. to prove that they know how to react to someone who does not see it their way.. or do you want people to think that some how.. you're smarter just because you believe the globe is real.. and how dare anyone say otherwise.
Tell you what.. go to the sun.. take measurements.. and get the miles.. then.. and only then.. will this flat earther take you seriously…. and while you're up there.. take a camera and get a real picture of the earth.. I mean.. it should be easy after 500.000 miles to get the whole earth in the shot. It would like taking a picture of a billiard ball.. if it is indeed a ball at all.
I have had it up to my neck with all those who think we are retarded.. and I will not get into a whizzing match with goofballs who think they are all that and a bag of chips too. I read the comments below.. and some of them comments were globe proponents who had the intellectual prowess of a turnip.
Occam's Razor applied.. the earth is flat.. period.
Logic dictates that if you have to build a construct that say's one thing.. when it is clear that it is an impossibility.. like water staying spherical on a ball while it spins… then the end to it.. is to manipulate perception.. and not establish a fact.
In other words.. control your way of thinking. Why else would they teach you that you live on a ball.. when you first start school ?
You barely know anything about life at that point.. so you're an easy target to manipulate.

Truth is a subjective concept to be accepted or rejected depending on the prejudices of the viewer. It is best to place your truth in objectives supported by fact and not just by faith alone. I would still listen to what NASA says before I listen to what anonymous unqualified armchair conspiracy or flat earth nutjobs have to say. I have researched flat earth, and found it completely wanting in model, mathematics, predictive power, and comprehensive explanation. Flat earth is supported only by vague opinions, self-interpreted religious beliefs, crackpot conspiracy theories, a very bad understanding of science and math, and a bulging merde sack of anonymous armchair conspiracy/flat-earth youtube videos. Binge-watching anomous armchair conspiracy/flat-earth youtube videos is not evidence.
So what type of tape measure or tool is used to measure gravity!? This Neil dude is a fuckin moron!!!! The Earth is flat & we live under a dome called the fermement, therefore space travel is IMPOSSIBLE!!!
