Fun Fact: Crazy Horse was born Cheyenne, but adopted by Sioux. The Sioux knew this, and that’s why they didn’t give him the help he requested from them towards the end of his life.
Sioux is a French trapper documenting the Crow work referring to them: ennusioux. Asp or adder. They were enemies. Sioux is the correct pronunciation. Soo is actually a perpetrated mispronunciation.
