As we read through the book of Acts, we see great miracles done by The Most High through the apostles of our beloved Messiah. People being healed by Peter’s shadow, demons cast out by a simple command, the dead raised back to life, the crippled healed, the blind receiving sight and much more. Among these miracles was the gift of tongues. As many come back to the Truth of faith and obedience in these last days, this topic naturally has reemerged, and it’s time we took a deep dive into this subject; sharing the truth, and bringing to light false doctrines.

Every 501 C3 churches has taught this crap. I was a Christian for 26 years. I have denounced Christianity after awaken to the truth. I seek Yahusha Hamashiach now. I have rewire what was taught to me in errors! Adam, I must have to say, I praise Yah for you!!! Speaking in tongues are extremely dangerous if it is channeling through demons. A lot of churches and even pastors do this. I feel like I was chosen to come out. As I walked through my journey to share the truth, I have been scorned, mocked, and even slandered. The other half left. The price of denying faults traditional teachings and following Yah is worth it. Thank you for your teachings.
To anyone who's really interested in this subject and who might be confused/not entirely settled, I heavily recommend Derek Prince's teaching called "Receive the Holy Spirit" (here: https://youtu.be/2ldJNZ1HGWc) – in it he explains the difference between being born again/saved and being baptized (filled) with the Holy Spirit and how that's evidenced with speaking in tongues as a heavenly language.
There's a gift of tongues which is different from the heavenly language that we receive when we get baptized in the Holy Spirit, and that gift is for ministry purposes and/or church assembly. But all believers are invited to receive the Holy Spirit in fullness and to receive their heavenly prayer language as that brings us to a whole new level of intimacy with the Holy Spirit and edifies our spirit, plus it's a way for us to intercede for unknown situations.
The key thing to understand is that there are different kinds of tongues, some are for ministry and some are for our personal prayer life with the Lord. Both are necessary and have their place in the Body of Christ.

So it seems like you contradict yourself in your teaching with good scriptures in context. Shalom!
You forgot vers 4 „He that speaketh in an tongue EDIFIETH HIMSELF; but he that prophesieth edifieth the congregation“. But I guess I know I understand why you read and teached around it. Other than that excelent points u make.
