The first part of this was a pre-debate discussion I had with Zen Garcia in an interview he did with me a month before the debate. It gives a short overview of what went down between Kent Hovind, Robert Sungenis and myself, which led to me finally debating Sungenis. The last part of this is a mirror of a short highlight video NowYouSeeTV did for the debate.

Honest opinion, the debate had few interesting points from both sides but Rob was overconfident and aggressive, and attacked Sungeniss on parts where he was open that catholic is corrupted with a really not nice tone.
My stance:
I'm still neutral about FE or globe
Most likely geocentrist
Not a catholic,
so not favoring antibody here I hope
Send them the Earth on a turtle to get their defense down.
Ok, proving that flat earth is covered by the bible does not prove anything about reality. Rob skiba you just connect flat earth with the bible. So you can turn flatearthers into Christians, but globeearthers into rejecting the bible. I suggest to make an end to all doubts and do one last experiment. Just fly from Santiago (South America) to Sydney (Australia) and See how many hours it takes. If you arrive in just only 14 hours and the flight back is also similar Short, you have to say; Houston, we have a Problem! I guess flat earthers dont like this experiment, because they are not realy truthseekers. They just only seek for things that confirm what they already believe. Rob skiba, you also do exactly that. You believe already in the bible and that's why you also like to believe in flat earth. One prove that this happens a lot within the flat earth community is that most flat earthers believe all supossedly 200 proves of flat earth from Eric dubay. including the argument that the sunrays of the sun Shining trough the Clouds demonstrates a small local sun. This turned out to be clearly an optical Illusion. In fact there are no real sunrays at all, Just like a Rainbow, sunrays are not there where you See them. Everybody knows that it is impossible to drive to the point where the Rainbow Hits the earth. If you try, you will Chase the Rainbow forever without ever reaching that point. It is an Illusion created by our Loving God. So dont be deceived, does not mean Automatically that the one that gave the warning about deception in the first place is not deceiving himself.
By the way, i still dont know what to believe myself about all of this. I just get frustrated to See that within this Community people almost exclusivly surge to confirm what they already know, like optically surging for the curve. Just stop this nonsense. We all know by now that the earth looks flat. But who says this is not just such a powerfull Illusion like the Rainbow or the sunrays?
