so a 'short time' is 2000 years ?
Have you ever considered that the millineum or more precisely the thousand years, is actually a word used to describe an undetermined amount of time, a long undetermined time since Jesus said no man would know the day or hour or I think year or decade. It isnt in the word of God to calculate anything but the number of the beast as far as the last generation is concerned? It would make more sense because that there isnt an actual word in the bible called millennium, just like there isnt the word rapture. And to use the latter chapters of ezekiel putting people who have already in the twinkle of an eye changed into their supernatural bodies, not to mention the ones who have died in the Lord, have to go back in the flesh a second time to live in a thousand year period. That just doesnt make sense. Flesh and Blood cant enter heaven. Any dispensation, post trib, mid trib, or pre trib werent taught until the 18th century. With the new matthews and geneva and king james bibles, but 1830, you know the scoffield bible brought in a lot of heresies anyways the common people broke way from the catholic antichrist system of churches when they read and understood their bibles in their own language when it wasnt a catholic translating it into latin. THey even came out with the douey rheims bible from the catholics to try and change up the true word again. Yeah, try and re read revelations and other correlating scripture contemplating what I just said knowing the first resurrection is when we die before the end times , for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and the 2nd and last Resurrection is on the Last Day, and then the tares are gathered and burned and the wheat are immediately put in Gods barn, and then there will be a new heaven and new earth and no millineum is needed. God doesnt judge aborted children or any other child under age or any human that cant comprehend his message, so thats a silly reason why to have a millennium, yet the the best reason is it is unbiblical, there arent no real 2 and 3 witnesses to support any dispensationalist doctrine. Its like offer two parties that are both wrong in politics, a yen and yang, so you squabble over two wrongs to keep you from seeing the obvious, bait and switch. I used to believe in dispensation, but i have seen it is lacking and doesnt measure up. Sorry so long but it needs explaining. I believe the 1000 years undetermined amount of time which has been obviously longer than a thousand years and so will the 144 thousand be more,its a figure of speech, but the point is, started when Jesus died on the cross, because He is then seated and reigning in heavenly places as High Priest and we are reigning with him when we are saved as priest and can access his kingdom in prayer right now, so that has came to pass already and so Jesus will reign until He has put his enemies under his feet and that is at the last trump when death is swallowed up in victory, and so that will be the end of the 1000 year reign, and he hands his seat back over to God the Father. So we are living in that 1000 year reign right now.
I think Noel hit it out of the park squeezing in lots of information in such a short time.
I'm surprised that Zen doesn't realize the new heavens new earth and new Jerusalem are different from the Millenial Reign…its very clear when you read scripture that these are 2 separate events
