Did you know that early Muslim scholars who were Christians and converted to Islam, wrote some of the original texts of the gospel? Especially those texts that explicitly mention the Prophet Muhammad's name.
The amazing thing is that those verses of the gospels were around until the 1850s
For instance,
In the copy of the Bible printed in London in the year 1848, and the other printed in Beirut in the year 1884, and other older copies
You will easily find in the Book of Habakkuk the text in the utmost frankness and clarity:
(The heavens have been illuminated by the splendor of Muhammad, and the earth has been filled with his praise… Your rebuke in the rivers, and the ferocity of your voice. In the seas, O Muhammad, the mountains saw you and were terrified).
Nowadays, this verse does not mention Prophet Muhammad at all.
This is only one example; there are many others where Prophet Muhammad's name was written explicitly and deleted later on.
