In our video series, “The Origins of Peoples According to the Bible,” we delve into each ethnic group’s history in detail. However, in this video, I will provide a comprehensive study of Genesis 10, which specifically deals with the lineages and ancestors of all humanity: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
The origins of humanity after the great flood involve Noah and his family. His three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, left the ark to repopulate the world, following God’s command to fill the entire Earth with their descendants.
This story is recorded in Genesis 10:1-32. Japheth, Noah’s son, is the ancestor of many nations, and his children are the progenitors of the Indo-European and Asian peoples. Japheth’s wife, Adaton Isis, is considered the mother of Asians.
