It depends which character(tattoo) u do , bible says nothing about tattoo,
Leviticus 19:28 its not about tattoos.
there are not talking about tattoos at all in the bible, a tattoo is the application of ink to the body, the bible speaks of ritual cuts on the body, that is, these were special cuts that were made in dedication to demons

The scripture in Leviticus you quoted does not in the original say the word 'tattoo' The other issue with the scripture in Leviticus you quoted stipulates 'for the DEAD! People and even Christians don't specifically get tattoos for the dead. God will still forgive anyone who seeks Gods forgivess for getting tattoos if they sincerely ask Him
What about head coverings?
