So explain, Pastor! How is the Catholic Church "Against" Christ?
Doesn't make any sense at all because if you visit a Catholic Church you will find it filled with the teachings of Christ! If they follow the teaching of Christ, passed down from Christ to the Apostles, there is no way it can be "Antichrist"!
You may have over looked John 2:22, so allow me to help you with this one; "Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son". The Catholic Church simply does NOT fit this category; no matter how much you would like them to, nor does the bible support this view.
Jeremiah 51:5-6; "For Israel hath not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the Lord of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel. Flee out of the midst of Babylon"
This is speaking of the earthly Israel who is described as "Babylon"! Israel (like Arabia) is also Mystery Babylon and then it mimics what John wrote: "And deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity".
Why would God call this rejected place "daughter Babylon" if this is not His 'daughter' that became a Harlot? It is because it was re-born of "Mystery Babylon" and is "The Mother of Harlots" and is why God calls this 'body' (daughter) because it was once His.
Then what of this verse of the bible: Revelation 11:8; "And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified"?
SODOM (Homosexuality-Sexual acts-Harlotry) and EGYPT (Paganism) to include the very location=Jerusalem! When we examine Ezekiel 16 to Ezekiel 23 God explicitly portrays Israel as a "PROSTITUTE" and that He will restore it as as it was and revert all her 'daughters' to what they were before=PAGAN!
The Israel and Judah that was ONCE of God will ONLY unite in the end and until that day arrives, they will be cursed of God: Matthew 23:35; "That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar".
No where in the bible is Rome ever mentioned in destruction, that is unless you jimmy rig the text to make it fit!
Very interesting, to say the least that you would use as your source of 'solid information" John Calvin (Heretic), Martin Luther (Heretic) as well as the others to show "proof" that the Catholic Church is this "Antichrist system!
