I've looked into this in great detail and believe the antichrist was at work when we changed from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar.
Think about this. Does it make any sense that it took almost 1,290 years for the first translation of the Bible to reach Britain.
It makes much more sense that the gospel was getting spread fast, and for the first translation to be around 290 years after the original disciples died.
