1st, the ONLY DAY that "It" will be too late are either, The day, hour that you die. Or "The Day of The Lord"!
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, 7-9 NASB1995

The Apostle Paul clearly says that, The Lords 2nd coming and Our (His Church, His bride, His Elect) Gathering together unto Him will NOT happen until the apostasy happens 1st, and the anti-christ is revealed all the way up until Christ slays him with the sword of His mouth! Both The Apostle Matthew and Mark record Christ saying that AFTER the tribulation of those days and AFTER that tribulation! Christ is speaking of the Great Tribulation here!

So these that "Are Alive and Remain" Are The Raptured, the Caught up Church, His Elect His bride!
There are absolutely zero biblical proof of a Silent, Secret, half way coming of Jesus Christ! No Pre-tribulation rapture! It's not biblical!
Neither is the subject of some Christians not measuring up, and therefore are left behind!
NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND!
The perservance or patience of the Saints, His Church, His Elect, His bride, is their refining, their purification, while going through the Great Tribulation! If a Christian is captured, the bible says that that Christian is to accept their capture and go into captivity! If they pick up a Sword to fight back against the anti-christ, then the possibility of them being killed by the sword is very very great!

[11] "They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”

When does the 1st ressurection happen? On the Day of The Lord Revelation chapter 19 and Joel 2! Matching perfectly with Christ's answers to Andrew, Peter, James and John!
