[3] Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, [4] who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
[7] For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. [8] Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; [9] that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,"

The Apostle Paul here clearly says that "The Day of The Lord, and "our" (His church, His bride, His Elect) Gathering together unto Him! Will NOT happen until the apostasy happens First, and the anti-christ is revealed, all the way up until the Day that Christ slays him with the sword of His mouth! That folks is After the Great Tribulation!
Matthew 24:29-31 NASB1995
[29] “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. [30] And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. [31] And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other."

Both Matthew and Mark record Christ saying that AFTER the tribulation of those days and AFTER that tribulation! Christ is speaking here about the Great Tribulation!
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 NASB1995
[15] "For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. [16] For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. [17] Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord."

So who are these that are "Alive and Remain"? Revelation 7:9, 13-16 NASB1995

All rapture scripture points to it happens on The Day of The Lord, Joel chapter 2!
So the rapture is NOT Imment! It's not going to happen this year!
Has the Temple been built yet?
Nope, but it will be very soon!
Has the Apostasy happened yet?
Nope!
Has the anti-christ been revealed yet?
Nope! But he will be very soon!
Has the anti-christ made the firm covenant with the many? Nope, but he will be soon!
So all this has to happen, before the rapture happens!
Oh and the ressurection of the dead in Christ Saints has to happen to before those who are Alive and Remain are caught up! When does the first ressurection of the dead in Christ Saints happen?
Revelation 20:4-6 NASB1995
[4] "Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. [5] The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. [6] Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years."

Revelation chapter 19, is when Christ comes down, splits the sky, and the LAST trumpet ( 1 Corinthians 15:51-52) is blown, and the shout of the Arch Angel, and Christ then sends His Angels to gather up His Elect, His bride, His church!
So sorry, the Rapture will NOT be sooner, than anyone thought, the rapture doesn't happen until the last day of man's rule and the first day of Christ's rule of this earth! Best be getting ready for great tribulation! 23 days
