34:40 the doctrine of the 144,000 is SALVIFIC and ALL SDA’s should have a thorough and true understanding of the subject. Sister White’s first vision was about the 144,000. In Review and Herald March 9th 1905 she states “Let us STRIVE with ALL the power that God has given us to be among the hundred and forty-four thousand. ” Also in the book Testimonies for The Church 266.2 it says that the CLOSING WORK for the church is the sealing of the 144000.”They are the ones to stand on Mt. Zion with the Lamb. Did you think that the closing work for the SDA church was to go to EVERY nation to teach the gospel ? Well that is not what the word says see Revlation 10:11. This subject should not be nonchalantly passed by. Great pains should be taken to understand it. It is only inspiration to give the understanding, not man’s theory. It must harmonize with the word of God. Prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit’s aid to help you to understand because it is a life and death matter. A word to the wise is enough. May God bless the honest in heart and who will accept a thus saith the Lord. Now is not the time for water down sermons, now is the time for pure unadulterated truth.
