[16] So don't let anyone judge you because of what you eat or drink. Don't let anyone judge you about holy days. I'm talking about special feasts and New Moons and Sabbath days. [17] They are only a shadow of the things to come. But what is real is found in Christ.
Romans 14:1-9 AMP
[1] As for the one whose faith is weak, accept him [into your fellowship], but not for [the purpose of] quarreling over his opinions. [2] One man's faith permits him to eat everything, while the weak believer eats only vegetables [to avoid eating ritually unclean meat or something previously considered unclean]. The Gentiles never were under the Old Covenant and remain that way!
The Jews in the church could continue to celebrate their Holy days and dietary observance, if they so chose. But they absolutely could not, command that the Gentiles, follow suit.
That is what the Apostle Paul made perfectly clear, so that the Judaizers could not ensnare the Gentiles.
Galatians 5:4 (AMPC)
If you seek to be justified and declared righteous and to be given a right standing with God through the Law, you are brought to nothing and so separated (severed) from Christ. You have fallen away from grace (from God's gracious favor and unmerited blessing).
