Saying "if you don't like waste, move to China" is wild.
In the UK, 80% of the recycled plastic is used to make rubbish bins for recycling.
It's called pyrolysis.
Singapore has 5-6M people living in less than 300 square miles. Nashville has 2M people living in over 500 square miles. Which is over 100 of miles away from the next biggest city.
This, amongst, many other reasons, is why Singapore can do it with less cost/effort.
Singapore has efficient ways to deal with a LOT of problems. Usually a 1-oz. portion of lead, delivered at high speed…
