The Sohei were a group of warrior monks who were so formidable, that the shoguns at the time would seek to enlist them into their own armies.

The Jodo Shinshu and Ikko Ikko is probably worthy of its own video by now.
I was actually surprised that other than Extra Credit, there really isn't much mention of them on Youtube (in English) that isn't video game related.
I just read a web article that almost had the exact dame script.
Good overview, but a bit of criticism:
1) you didn't mention the Ikko Ikki at all
2) you didn't mention their great tactical use of arquebuses
3) you said the naginata was "to outreach the traditional sword" – the sword was never the main battlefield weapon so please don't reinforce the popular misconception. Naginata was the main weapon for retainers in the pre-sengoku-jidai era and were then replaced by the yari. (I'm sure you are well aware and just forgot to mention 🙂 )
Their weaknesses isn't their twisted faith their weaknesse is arquebus.
Other monks: live a peaceful life, don't hurt anyone.
japanese monks: murders anyone who messess with them.
