  1. I assume the sohei were synonymous to the ikko ikki. I’ve read a lot about the Nizari Ismaili Assassins and I have to say: the warrior monks of japan seem to share a lot of similar traits. I’ve always wanted to look deeper into this but I’ve never had the time.
