A woman in a war-ridden land delaying the captain at the dock because her children have not yet arrived, expresses intense love and desire for her children to go to a better and safer land with her. Likewise, the seemingly delay of Christ's return demonstrates His intense love and patience towards us in wanting to be with us in the total bliss of a heavenly paradise
