Rom. 14 does absolutely nothing to make make Christmas an acceptable festival for Christians to observe, and it says a lot about Doug's "Christianity" that he would even try to use that chapter to justify such an obviously antichrist position. God plainly stated in Deut. 12 that His ppl are not to worship Him with heathen customs because He will NOT accept it. That especially includes Christmas and Easter!

A better translation for the word ‘but’ here is ‘if not’… that’s why the other translations will often say ‘except’..
Look at the original word in a concordance…
A better reading would be..
“No man has ascended up to heaven, if not for the Son of man descending down from heaven..”
