Lot had no right to offer up his virgin daughters to the citizenry of Sodom. The citizenry of Sodom were not interested in conventional sex with a woman. These were young virgin girls at the most. They would be 15 years old. He'd rather sacrifice his daughters, which is considered an aberration. Lot was not a righteous man. He was a self-righteous person. To me. He was a misogynistic pig. It made him a man who thought the Angels were special and his daughters were not special. He wanted to feather his own nest by getting in the good graces of the Angels. Hospitality of his house not to be damaged as ridiculous statement. What about his young virgin daughters safety? You're supposed to honor your father and mother but lot did not honor his daughters. Apparently they value his daughters had to him was no more than that of a fatted calf to be offered in sacrifice. The entire society at that time sought females were interchangeable and replaceable. They're only value to prove their worth was that they were virgins meaning that no man had known them prior to being betrothed to somebody. The girls didn't have anything to say about who they were going to marry that was going to be lots decision and if they were versions they brought a higher price than if they were not. So offering his daughters to the crazed crowd of Sodom. He felt as though he was giving them a special chance Again. Happily this did not happen to these poor girls, not because good old daddy lot did the right thing by offering them to the crowd but because the Angels stepped in and took control of the situation. To the citizenry of Sodom, virgin girls had no value at all. Being a virgin was considered a boring situation to them. Why any men would want to stick his penis up? Another man's ass is beyond my comprehension, but that's what they found. Exciting! And evidently the angels found it to so disgusting that they blinded them all and sent them off, not knowing how to find their way home not knowing the directions because they had no more sight. That was the right and just thing proactive thing to do.
What male citizenry really said to Lot was the folliwing, "And they called to Lot, “Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them."
