The Book of Enoch, also referred to as 1 Enoch, is an ancient religious text that treats readers to some rather creative, dynamic and often bizarre sequences that are not found in the traditional bible. The Ethiopian church you talking about is the coptic church , they came to be when the concil or church of nicea , cannoizing the bible and changing it , even the look of Yeshua (Jesus to the slow ones) so they left and did their own thing and took the REAL bible w/them (mind you its the OLDEST living bible on earth) so thats why it has the book of Enoch and other apocryphal text in it along w/its original pictures …
Really dont why it was taking, the book is mentioned though the bible , heres some outliers the ppl didnt pick up …JOB 40:15-24 (behemoth) , JOB 41: 1-33 (leviathan) , ISAIAH 24: 21-22 (fallen angels), HEBREWS 11:5-6 (Enoch himself) AND not mention again revelations on how hes one of the prophets thats coming back w/Elijah, other than in genesis 5:23-24
I am a Christian and I love the book of Enoc. And the reason I found out about is because it is referenced in the Bible Jude 5-14. But I could see why this book spiritually would be a challenge to some believers. Beautiful series in this book. Thanks
