Watching Joe trying to sound smart in front of experts is waaay more funny to me than his intended ‘comedy’. 😂
Wtf did I just watch
Think they’re miss judging the balance of suffering and comfort. Sure they’re fine, for now, as am I, but taking account of all sentient creatures throughout all of natural history it’s basically a giant meat grinder.
I know I'm small in the grand cosmetic schemes of things and you can say maybe my mind is too feeble to comprehend but who gives a sh!t. I'm here and I'm loving those I love, fighting for things I believe in and trying my best to go to soup kitchens and pass on acts of kindness. Maybe my life doesn't matter in the bigger picture but nothing not even God can deny I was here and All those moments of good I did and it's better than just sitting there in self pity and saying there's no point
"I have known many gods. He who denies them is as blind as he who trusts them too deeply. I seek not beyond death. It may be the blackness averred by the Nemedian skeptics, or Crom's realm of ice and cloud, or the snowy plains and vaulted halls of the Nordheimer's Valhalla. I know not, nor do I care. Let me live deep while I live; let me know the rich juices of red meat and stinging wine on my palate, the hot embrace of white arms, the mad exultation of battle when the blue blades flame and crimson, and I am content. Let teachers and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and am content."
-Robert E. Howard, Queen of the Black Coast
A case of a little education is a dangerous thing.
