Revelation uses symbolic language, not literal. The mark of the beast is not a physical mark. The antichrist is not a person, it is a spirit of rebellion against God.
The forehead represents thoughts, the hand represents deeds. Like Isaiah 55:8 when God says “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
What that passage in Revelation is saying is that when people reject God, it will become apparent in their thoughts and behavior. No technology necessary.
Christians will be ostracized for not thinking and behaving as the world does. We are already starting to see the intolerance for Christians beginning to appear not just in the world, but also in progressive “Christianity”.
Scripture makes it clear that deception is the result of refusing the truth, not the insidious nature of world power structures.
I believe most people have the mark but it’s not in the same way different designs same number of name of that number..
