Praise God – HalleluYah Amen' – Christ teaches His followers : Do Not Love The World Or The Things Of The World in : 1 John 2 : 15 – 29, Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone should love the world, the love of the Father is not in him, 16, For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17, And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
18, Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
19, They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
20, But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
21, I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
22, Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus (Yahusha in Hebrew) is the Christ? He is antichrist, that deny the Father and the Son.
23, Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: (but) he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
24, Let that therefore abide in you, which you have heard from the beginning. If that which you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
25, And this is the promise that He has promised us eternal life.
26, These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
27, But the anointing (from the Holy Spirit) which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
28, And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before Him at his coming.
29, If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness (God's Laws; see Ps 119 : 142) is born of Him.
Jesus – ( or Yahusha in Hebrew meaning God/Yah Saves or Yah's/God's Salvation) said to His followers in : John 15 : 20 – 27,
20, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his Master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21, But all these things will they do unto you for My name's sake, because they know not Him that sent Me. 22, If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.
23, He who hates Me hates My Father also.
24, If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father.
25, But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.
26, “But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth (see Ps 119 : 142) who proceeds from the Father, He (it) will testify of Me.
27, and you are testifying as well, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
And in : 1 John 16 : 1 – 4,
1, “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble (led into sin; see 1 John 3:4).
2, They will put you out of the Synagogues (Churches); yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service.
3, And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.
4, But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.
Also Christ Jesus/Yahusha teaches us to : 'Love & Pray for our Enemies' in :
Matthew 5: 44 – 48,
44, “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45, That you may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46, For if you love them which love you, what reward have you? do not even the publicans (nations/pagans) do the same?
47, And if you salute your brethren only, what do you more than others ? do not even the publicans so? 48, Be you therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Psalm 68 : 4 – 5, Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him. 5, A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God (Elohim in Hebrew) in His holy habitation. (nkjv) HalleluYah Amen! (Did you know there are – 40 occurrence of the name Yah in scripture : see also Psalm 106 in nkjv for the name of God – 'Yah' : see also – Strongs Concordance 3050)
Jesus – ( Yahusha Messiah) said to His followers in :
Luke 11: 28, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
Christ teaches His followers; “Repent of your sins and believe in Him, to turn back to God the Father (Yah) & walk in His righteous ways for the blotting out of your sins, to learn of Him the Christ, see : (Matthew 11: 26-30); & to walk in the Fathers & the Sons right-rulings (laws) as He did the Christ, see (Exodus 20 : 1-17 & Matthew 22 : 34 – 40); which will bring His followers blessings if they do, see : (1 John 2: 6-7), – For He does not change; He is the same yesterday, today & forever, see : (Malachi 3:6, & Hebrews 13:8)
King Solomon the son of King David, who asked for the gift of wisdom from God (Yah) said in : Ecclesiastes12 :13-14,
13, After all is said and heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God (Yah) and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
14, For God-Yah will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
What does God want of us ? Micah 6 : 8, He has shown you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD (Yah or Yahuah) require of you but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God (Elohim).
For God's Just & Loving commandments that bring blessings to those who keep them; please see : Exodus 20 : 1-17, Micah 6: 8, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 22 : 34 – 40, & Galatians 5 : 22-24, (for the fruits of the Spirit that keep the laws of God/Yah).
Remember : Faith is the Root – Obedience is the 'Good Fruit' of our Faith in Christ, see : John 15 : 1-6,
