I needed to hear this, as I do good works and then tell my family & friend but not to gloat but just cause I’m excited to help people but now I know I shouldn’t say anything at all and just keep it to myself. I also talk to my family & friend about the people doing wrong to me but I know now that I shouldn’t say anything about it at all even though I’m just venting to my friend & family as I get stressed and upset but I know now that I only need to talk to God about it and let it go. In my heart & mind I’m only doing and talking to people to help me feel better with my stress or rage and I only tell about my good works out of excitement…. It’s not for attention as I don’t want it. It’s truly for excitement-however now I will try not to as I know that even that is wrong. God forgive me as I only want to please you and I want to be a good Christian.
Even in our hearts and minds we mean well but it is not if the mouth tells about it. I’m so sorry Lord, please forgive me.
