I'm from Brazil and I can say this event was just a scam for corruption to thrive. They spent A LOT of tax money to build a lot of shit nobody uses anymore, and they did that in a country where starvation and lack of minimum living conditions still exists in a lot of places.
People think Brazil is only the big city of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and a giant rain forest, but this is a really big country and we have LOTS of problems to solve, these Olympics was just a joke that's only good for the ones that are already millionaires.
I have to say Joe is very simple when it comes to some topics. I think we need to have discussions about women’s sports and transgender people and I also don’t think a previous man should be allowed to compete. But high testosterone doesn’t mean you’re transgender and failing a gender test doesn’t mean that either. She’s always been considered a woman, starting from the hospital she was born at. Maybe her testosterone is too high for women’s boxing but don’t take her identity away when that’s just who she is.
