I love how in this instance Tyson will acknowledge a "truth" that has been discovered completely a priori using pure mathematics. There is no way to scientifically or empirically prove the existence of different size infinities. Yet he is so easy to discount other non empirical truths because they cannot be tested experimentally. He is enormously critical of fields like philosophy that use the exact same means of logic and reasoning to come to conclusions and truths. The line between pure mathematics, theoretical physics, and subjects in philosophy such as metaphysics can become very blurry. You either have to accept them all when the reasoning is sound or reject them entirely.
There's only one Infinity
So there are more numbers between numbers than there are numbers???
There is an infinity of blueberry pies, but, there is a bigger infinity then the blueberry pies. There are far more blueberries that are in the pies then there are pies. But, but also, there is a bigger infinity then the blue berries in the infinity of pies. There are far more grains of flour that made those pies then the blueberries in the pies.
All Tyson did was break down the infinity of infinite numbers into smaller subset of those numbers.
Of course there are more, but are part of the same infinity, not a new one.
