This is agonizing. GUESS WHAT, DUMMIES: You know who has awards that celebrate themselves? Everybody. From Hollywood to Professional Sports to Business Executives to politicians to the "employee of the month" at a coal mine. Self-celebration is in every single industry and facet of human existence. You know why the Oscars is the biggest? People you idiots WATCH IT. Because you TALK ABOUT IT. These people don't put themselves on television. They don't put themselves on Joe Rogan's podcast.
So yeah, when you people throw money at the feet of celebrities and buy them massive mansions to live in, why WOULDN'T they say about themselves that they are as gods? You have MADE them gods.
