Played football in the same era as Arian Foster. Concussions were "dings" and the helmets were just finally starting to get to a point where they were decently safe after the entirety of the last however many years of them being totally shit. Its unlike anything else the only thing that can feel like three guys totaling 700 pounds hitting you at full speed is a legitimate car crash. Youth tackle football needs to be done away with, give the kids maybe 1 year of tackle MAYBE before high school . It is not worth it, its just a game. I generally did not take a ton of hits to the head and certainly nothing like Mr. Foster but fuck man… One is one too many. You cannot regulate concussions out of the game and now these stupid fucks at all levels are putting in synthetic turf which is not as forgiving. Let you kids play basketball or soccer or something.
