The fact of the matter is it's just not a funny joke. I agree people are too sensitive and it's certainly not a racist joke. What I find disingenuous about the "it was a joke" defense is that it's not "just a joke". This was very obviously a "hostile" tweet and its intention was not to be "funny" but to antagonize. By tweeting this on National Women's Day he was clearly looking to agitate "the far left" and also undermine the meaning/intention of National Women's Day. So in summation the purpose of his tweet was not to be "funny" but to upset and antagonize a specific group of people and he got the exact reaction he was hoping for.
