When something becomes larger than whatever built it you run into the whole David/Goliath thing. We've essentially created a new emotion (the internet) because it represents and replicates the way people feel and we have no clue what the fuck to do with it so people do what they do (jack off to it, steal it, sell it, buy it, etc). As others have already correctly noted, these guys are spot on. The day "old media" news became more about profit than public duty is the day the downfall began. If we could somehow harness the power of Edward R. Murrow spinning in his grave, we could meet all our energy needs!
