I'm a farmer. Sadly way too much misinformation out there. Some of what Robb Wolf is saying is simply wrong regarding the use of Roundup getting stronger and more potent. Roundup is less toxic than your morning coffee. In Romania, soybean production increased 31 percent with herbicide tolerate seeds. In Hawaii, papaya production raised 40 percent with seeds developed to resist common viruses. In a research project that examined 147 GMO studies, it was found that GMOs created a 22 percent increase in crop yield in America. How do you base your views on GMO crop yields as a negative if you don't even try to find out what those yields are?
Also, those GMO monocrops? Because they're genetically modified, they use 37 percent less pesticide and herbicide than non-GMO crops. So that whole foods organic non-GMO Indian corn likely used more pesticide to make it to the store than anything Monsanto, Bayer, Dow or Dupont produce.
"Who knows what effect that has on the human body?" Science through the hundreds of studies conducted on GMOs and pesticides like Roundup, which has less dangerous chemical components used in pesticides found on "organic" produce.
Seems like a smart guy speaking about things he doesn't have enough information about.
