OH MY GOOD LORD JOE ROGAN. Bo Derek was NOT the first person to wear corn rows. HER IN THOSE BRAIDS AND YOU THINKING SHE'S THE FIRST IS EXACTLY WHAT WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT. sigh The definition of cultural appropriation is: when white people take credit (and oft-times profit) for something that has been in our culture always (going back to Africa) and act as if they invented or created it.
When you're more or less debating someone on a subject, and they're well-educated on the subject, and they basically spend the entire time saying "well, you know it seems pretty dumb, and i do think that part is based in ignorance"…."yeah that's true that aspect is ridiculous"….. "OH, I never said you shouldn't ignore people who accuse you of cultural appropriation, you probably should tune them out and proceed with your day"….lol it's like dude what are we doing here. How trash is a concept, when someone who is arguing FOR its validity is repeatedly admitting that it's irrational and stupid
Great conversation and I enjoyed both what Rogan and Moshe had to say. I think both of these guys would admit
the real issue is that there's a tremendously large amount of emboldened, selfish, dumbasses running around that are full of themselves and refuse to ever consider anyone else's perspectives as legitimate.
Stop the violence.
The fragile losers offended by cultural appropriation should stop using others inventions. Basically, return to the jungle.
