As soon as it becomes a moral issue, i don't see how gender becomes relevant. Sure woman should have at least a 50% say in the matter, but gender should not be the rule in moral issues. That will just open a can of worms in the choas of identity politics amd gender being a social construct which should already indicate that morality cannot be subject to gender.
If its only a womans choice, than if the father wanted an abortion and she doesn't get it, then he should not be responsible for the child. For the record, I think it shouldn't be allowed unless it is for medical reasons and rapes.

In my opinion, a time needs to be determined where the embryo has become a separate entity to the pregnant mother, and when that happens is when an abortion is unethical. If we can agree that a 9 month old foetus being aborted is wrong, but a 1 month old abortion is okay, then surely there is a moment between these two times, that an abortion becomes wrong, i.e., life has began and the foetus becomes a separate entity to the woman. This issue is about body sovereignty, and the definition of what counts as a separate human life.
